Water Management Installation Belongs to PT Palyja Inundated

Heavy rain which flushed the capital city on Saturday (7/26), has made ​​several areas flooded. One of them is the Water Management Installation (IPA) belongs to PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) in Cilandak. As a result, the water supply has stopped since yesterday.

The flood caused the Cilandak IPA cannot supply water until an undetermined time

Head of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibilities for PT PAM Palyja, Meyritha Maryani said such condition has been happened since Saturday (7/26) around 8 PM. It is caused by flood that has inundated the IPA production facilities in Cilandak.

"The flood caused the Cilandak IPA cannot supply water until an undetermined time," she expressed, Sunday (7/27).

Flood inundates Hundreds of Houses

He added that at this time, his side tries to find the best solution solve such problem. In addition, the Palyja also provides all tank cars in anticipating emergencies.

"We prepare tank cars in the hospitals and also accommodate flood victims in several areas," he expressed.

Those areas affected by the unoptimal water supply are Bangka, Bukit Duri, Cikoko, Gandaria Selatan, Kebayoran Baru Selatan, Kebayoran Baru Utara, Tebet Barat, Tebet Timur, Petogogan, Cipete Utara, Cipete Selatan, Duren Tiga, Pancoran, Pelampang, Manggarai Selatan, Mampang Prapatan, Pasar Minggu, Kebon Baru, Jati Padang, Pengadegan, Pulo and Tegal Parang.‬

"We realize that many customers cannot be served due to this disorder, therefore the Palyja to apologize for the disruption and inconvenience that happened," he stated.
